Bleeding Control Classes
Do you know how to recognize and control life-threatening bleeding? We will teach you how to respond to life-threatening hemorrhage in the bleeding control basics course! Our instructors will teach you the skills necessary to potentially save someone’s life following accidental or intentional trauma. You will get hands-on experience applying pressure, packing a wound, and applying a tourniquet. Here at UNC, you have the option of joining an open class or requesting a class for your department or student organization.
